Opera 10.50 Build 3309 เว็บบราวเซอร์ที่เร็ว ที่สุดในโลก มีแพทใหม่ๆ ออกมาไม่หยุดครับ โดย Opera ล่าสุดนี้จะมีการปรับปรุงให้สามารถใช้งานได้กับระบบปฏิบัติการล่าสุดอย่าง Windows 7 โดยจะมีอินเตอร์เฟสที่พัฒนาปรับ ปรุงขึ้นมาใหม่ อีกทั้งยังมี taskbar แบบฟูลเวอร์ชั่นรวมอยู่ด้วย และสิ่งที่โดดเด่นสำหรับเวอร์ชั่นใหม่นี้ก็คือ ตัวเอนจิ้นของ JavaScript ใหม่ ซึ่งทางทีมงานอ้างว่าสามารถช่วยให้ Opera มีประสิทธิภาพความเร็วที่เร็วกว่า Google Chrome ซึ่งจากการทดสอบเมื่อเดือนที่ผ่านมาพบว่า Opera 10.50 ใช้เวลาในการประมวลผล 435.6 มิลลิวินาที ในขณะที่ Google Chrome 4.0.266.0 ใช้เวลา 510.4 มิลลิวินาที และ Opera 10.10 ซึ่งเป็นบราวน์เซอร์ตัวปัจจุบัน ใช้เวลามากกว่าถึง 7.5 เท่าตัว หรือประมาณ 3284.4 มิลลิวินาที นอกจากนี้ ในเวอร์ชั่นเบต้าใหม่นี้ ยังพัฒนาในส่วนของเอนจิ้น Presto layout, กราฟฟิกไลบารี่ที่เรียกว่า Vega และรองรับสำหรับ HTML 5 และ CSS 3 อีกด้วย
